Blade Show Atlanta 2026 Recap: Great Friends, Great Knives, and a Whole Lot of Heat
Posted by LeNeigh Saldana on Jun 17th 2026
Another Blade Show Atlanta is in the books, and somehow every year manages to top the last. Between incredible new releases, time spent with friends in the industry, and bringing home some absolute fire knives, Blade Show 2026 was one for the books. It's wild to think about how much has changed from the before times to the now.
More Than Knives
Blade Show has always been about more than inventory. It's about the relationships that make this industry so special. We've been saying that since day one: Go for the knives, stay for the people. Hell, we even said it during our interviews at Blade Show a few years back.
Blade Show is always surrounded by like-minded individuals who understand the knife world, or at least have some interest in it anyway. I don't know about you, but sharing my love for knives with people outside of the knife community usually gets pretty weird. They either don't understand it or look at me like I'm psychotic or something. Thankfully, Blade Show is full of people who understand the obsession and don't treat us like we're collecting snakes or something equally intriguing.
This year, we had an amazing dinner with the Pro-Tech family at the legendary Goat Mansion, with Chaves Knives joining the festivities. Another evening brought together Pro-Tech and Blade HQ (see? We can all be friends!) at Eclipse Di Luna, where the tapas flowed, conversations lasted for hours, and somehow little seeds of conversations became part of the evening. We rounded out the weekend with dinners alongside customers, NC Blade, the Microtech crew, and our friends from EDC Lifestyle.

These moments are just as important as the knives themselves, and we're grateful for the friendships that continue to grow year after year. Those connections are one of the most tangible reminders of why we keep coming back.
Welcoming Thermal Tactical
One exciting addition from Blade Show was Thermal Tactical, the budget-focused line from Poikilo. We're thrilled to bring these to American Edge and are already looking ahead to two additional Poikilo exclusives coming our way.
The Hottest Knives of Blade Show
Pro-Tech Knives
Pro-Tech absolutely crushed Blade Show.
The Avalon was one of the hottest knives of the entire weekend, and the Ultimate Customs were downright stunning. Another standout was the Spartan Blades × Pro-Tech collaboration edition of the Pallas.
Pro-Tech also brought some really amazing cast metal Mordaxes. This innovative new approach to the handle scales is something I'm sure we'll see more of across the board in the future.
Microtech
Microtech brought the heat with:
-
New SOCOM Elite Warcom models
-
The highly anticipated Halo VII
-
Great conversations and even better company all weekend
Marfione Customs
Marfione Customs had some unbelievable pieces on display:
-
Broadhead Set
-
Mini Halo III Hellhound
-
Matrix R Bloodwash
-
Crusader Flipper
Each one was a masterpiece, handed to us by Sean Marfione himself.

Heretic Knives
Heretic's new Koschei generated a ton of excitement. We sold through our inventory quickly, but don't worry...
An American Edge-exclusive Koschei is already in the works.
Chaves Knives
Chaves continues to impress, especially with collaborations featuring one of our favorite people ever, Jake McCoy. We're incredibly excited about what's coming from Ramon and the team. It's an entanglement we're more than happy to be part of.

Hawk Knife Designs
The Hawk Talon remains one of our favorite designs. We brought home:
-
Talons with Linear Carbon Titanium scales
-
Several limited-edition Talons featuring hand-ground blades by TJ Marfione

NCC Knives
The Ragnahawk and Ragnarok models from NCC were among the most talked-about customs we encountered. We managed to secure two Ragnahawks and several Ragnarok configurations, and they are absolutely phenomenal.
If you haven't checked out Nick's work, we highly encourage you to meet him at the next show or pick up a pair of knucks or a Ragnarok ASAP. You won't regret it.
John Gray Customs
John Gray's Slitters were some of the coolest pieces we saw this year. We were honored to bring several home with us.
A2D Mercantile
A2D fans have plenty to be excited about:
-
Mark 1
-
Mark 2
-
Mark 3
These continue to be some of our favorite hard-use folders.

Demko Knives
Demko brought some serious hitters:
-
AD20 Butcher
-
AD20 Compact Batwing
-
Shark-A-TAC
As expected, they were incredibly popular.
Pens, Pens, and More Pens
Tactile Turn had some of their new Clip Action pens and several limited editions that we couldn't leave behind.
We also loaded up on Maverick Pens in a wide variety of colors.
Things We Loved (But Couldn't Bring Home)
WinterBlade showed off an absolutely wild OTF concept that had everyone talking.
We also had our eyes on some Koenig Knives and the McNees Little Dixon. Don't worry, though. Those are still on our radar and heading to American Edge in the future.
Three Shows. Three Lotteries. Three Wins.
Apparently, lightning does strike three times.
For the third Blade Show in a row, we were fortunate enough to win a Lucas Emerson lottery. Needless to say, we aren't taking that streak for granted. At this point, some people might ask, "Who's going to know? How are they going to know?" We still can't believe our luck.
Looking Ahead
Blade Show Atlanta may be over, but we're just getting started.
Next up is the Minnesota Knife Enthusiast's Show on July 18, where we'll welcome makers, manufacturers, collectors, and knife enthusiasts from all over the country to our showroom in Rice, Minnesota.
After that, we'll be heading west for the Pacific Northwest Invitational, where some of the finest makers in the world gather to showcase their latest work.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a meal, talked knives, and made Blade Show 2026 unforgettable.
From the before times to the now, we never take these friendships or experiences for granted.
We're already counting down to the next one, and we can't wait to see you there!
