The RECON series OTF automatic knives by Guardian Tactical are sure to impress. Super smooth and responsive action with their patented OTF mechanism. The well designed thumb slide rides on a steel plate with 3 ceramic balls that eliminate wear and tear. A new innovative locking mechanism is placed off center from the blade channel to avoid drag against the blade when operating the action. These features combined in this package remedy the friction that has caused problems with OTF knives since the beginning. The RECON-040 is the big beefy brother of the original RECON-035 with all the same smooth responsive action. This is a full size knife that fills the hand. Includes a pocket clip, glass breaker, and an integral lanyard hole. 100% made in the USA!

This model features black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle scales etched "RECON-040 - PATENT PENDING". Stonewash finished ELMAX stainless steel single edge drop point blade. Stonewash finished hardware and pocket clip. The blade is marked with the steel designation and the pocket clip is marked with the Guardian Tactical logo and serial number. Brand new in box.
