The Winterblade X Folder is a sweet knife. After well over a year in development including multiple prototyping stages, the all-new X-FOLDER from WINTERBLADEintroduces a completely new approach to folding knife locks! Built around the patent-pending X-LOCK, the X-FOLDER was designed from the ground up to rival the legendary strength and failure resistance of a balisong (butterfly) knife lock, while offering quick and easy blade actuation more akin to that of a typical folding knife

HOW IT WORKS

A secondary, pivoting handle on the X-Folder KICKS the blade out, and then pivots back in to LOCK the blade. Just like a balisong, the handle itself is part of the locking system. And just like a balisong, once locked, your grip becomes a structural element of the lock. Even a modest grip force makes blade or lock failure virtually impossible! A key difference is that X-FOLDERopens and closes more quickly and easily than a balisong, and also boasts a unique “fidget factor” of its own! Like new in box.
