Nice black rubberized handle with cut-outs for grip and says SMITH & WESSON with the logo on both sides. Satin finished 440 stainless steel double edge dagger blade. Brass lined lanyard hole. There is a hole in the tang which allows for this knife to be strapped onto a pole to make a spear. Includes a quality Smith & Wesson black leather boot clip sheath. Brand new in box.

Smith & Wesson Military Boot Knife 830
A fantastic vintage knife. Old, but new. Out of production, but new-in-box. It is everything I hoped it would be. A mini-Smatchet is what it is. Smatchet is an Applegate-Fairbairn design from World War II. Böker made a mini-Smatchet that you would have a hard time finding for under $300. For a whole lot less $, I would say this Smith & Wesson model 830 is just as good. I give it 5 stars in every category. It will do what it was designed to do. And I love that American Edge has these knives that you almost cannot find anywhere else. Thank you, American Edge.
