Fancy casted brass handle scales, the front scale says SMITH & WESSON 144TH ANNIVERSARY 1852-1996 with fancy scrolling, and the back scale says HORACE SMITH 135 REPEATING PISTOL with scrolling, a portrait of Horace Smith, and a Smith & Wesson repeating pistol. Stonewash finished stainless steel clip point blade etched SMITH & WESSON 1 OF 5000 and smaller spear point blade. Both blades have good strong snap. Brass handle pins. The blade is also etched with the serial number #4559 of 5000 made. Comes brand new in original two piece box.
