The Kestrel Feather is a lighter, more compact version of the venerable 18" Eagle Talon.  With an overall length of 13" and weighing in at only 19 ounces, they are built for speed and versatility.  The Kestrel Feathers features full tang construction made from 1/4-inch 80CrV2 carbon steel.  They are finished in Tungsten Gray Cerakote that resists corrosion and wear.  3D contoured G10 handle scales provide a secure, comfortable grip in wet or dry conditions.  The handles are attached with Grade 5 Titanium fasteners with a bronze anodized finish.  For first responders or guys that carry a truck hawk, it offers a practical option for light breaching and extraction work. The razor sharp 3" forward edge is paired with a 3" distal tapered spike that are a great duo for digging, breaking glass, chains, padlocks, penetrating sheet metal, concrete and wood.  True to RMJ's “one tool, many tasks” philosophy, the Kestrel Feather is a capable, lightweight tomahawk for hiking and camping.
