Pro-Tech Les George SBR Solid Black Handle Stonewash Blade LG401
The SBR or Short Bladed Rockeye is designed by military expert Les George and put into production by ProTech. It is a shortened up version of the popular Rockeye series. The SBR is an excellent mid size everyday carry that fills a size gap in ProTechs lineup and it fills that gap perfectly. Les George signature jimping on the spine of the blade. Nice milled pockets down the spine add some flair to the look. A milled lanyard loop in the butt of the handle and a tip up deep carry pocket clip round out the package.
This model features black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle scales. Stonewash finished CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade. The blade is marked with the Pro-Tech logo, the Les George logo, and the model information. Black DLC finished pocket clip. Bead blast finished hardware. Brand new in box.

Pro-Tech Les George SBR
The SBR is compact and sturdy, and nicely sized for EDC. It literally disappears in the front pants pocket. The blade is stout, perfectly centered, arrived razor-sharp out of the box, and like my other Pro-Techs, the action is very snappy. This is a well-made, strong knife, that is suitable for most any daily carry task.

I am new to the Pro-Tech brand and I was really impressed with chassis fit finish and snap of the auto. I like the S35VN blade although the edge was not finished as fine as I expected for the price. Size is great for EDC in all attire. Generous jimping on spine and finger choil make for a sturdy sure handed control of work done with knife. It’s a keeper!
