The Ultratech from Microtech is one of their most popular models, it definately provides the most bang for the buck. It will forever set the standard for all out the front knives. The Ultratech is Microtech's original double action out the front knife, and has been the foundation of their entire OTF line. Over the years, it has gone through several modifications, each time becoming more efficient and reliable. The Ultratech's spring remains in an "at rest" position at all times except when deployed. This ensures that the compressed spring will not become fatigued, assuring users that when the knife is fired, it will operate effectively. The Ultratech's lightweight, one handed open and close action, slim shape, and scalpel sharp blade make it a one of a kind knife!
This model features turquoise anodized 6061-T6 contoured aluminum handle scales with the Microtech Claw logo. Two tone black/satin finished CTS-204P stainless steel single edge drop point blade with a standard cutting edge. All black tactical hardware. Reversible pocket clip, lanyard hole, and glass breaker. The clip features the Microtech logo, serial number, and production date. The blade has the Microtech logo and model information. Brand new in box.

Action
What drew me to this knife is the color. The black screws really highlight that brilliant turquoise. I also love the two tone design of the blade with the blackened fuller groove. I can only carry a single edge knife in my state of Colorado and had a difficult time deciding on the Tanto or Drop points. If I had to do it again I may have chosen the partially serrated edge version of this knife. The action is superb with minimal blade play. This knife is an excellent addition to my collection and when I found Sal Glesser, founder and owner of Spyderco Knives, endorse Microtech it made this decision even easier.
