Microtech Currahee T/E Black Standard 103-1
The Microtech Currahee fixed blade was designed years ago for the U.S. Special Forces Boat Team 20. Currahee is a Cherokee name, which translates to "stands alone" and is also the name of the last mountain in the Blue Ridge range. It was there that the US Army established Camp Toccoa during WWII and where the first Parachute Infantry was trained. These knives are built like tanks with a full tang construction from thick stock. Large raised jimping on the spine. The textured composite polymer handle provides a secure and comfortable grip. Includes a MOLLE compatible carbon fiber wrapped kydex sheath.
This model features black composite polymer handle. Black finished ELMAX stainless steel tanto blade. Black finished stainless steel Tri Wing hardware. Lanyard loop with lanyard and heavy knocker bead. The blade is etched with the Microtech logo, model information, serial number, and production date. Brand new in box.
