The Kershaw Good Buddy was part of Kershaw's Easy Rider Series, which was mostly offered in the 1970's and 1980's.

The Easy Rider™ heavy duty knives carry comfortably in trousers pocket for every day use. There are no sharp corners to wear through your clothes. Incorporating lightweight and streamlined design with big and brawny blades, the thin stainless steel cases are detailed with handsome rosewood inlays.
The Good Buddy has a nice brushed stainless case with a rosewood inlay. The AUS-6A, high carbon stainless steel blade, is hollow ground and mirror finished. Also has a file cap lifter screwdriver blade. The inside of the stainless case is also mirror polished to keep corrosion at a minimum (a practice seldom done any more). The blades open smoothly, lock tight and snap shut. This is a very well made knife. This knife will truly be a Good Buddy. Like new old stock, no box.
