The Kershaw Rotary Lock folder is part of Kershaw's Easy Rider Series, which was mostly offered in the 1970's and 1980's. 

Follows is an Easy Rider write-up copied from an old Kershaw catalog:
The Easy Rider™ heavy duty knives carry comfortably in trousers pocket for every day use. There are no sharp corners to wear through your clothes. Incorporating lightweight and streamlined design with big and brawny blades, the thin stainless steel cases are detailed with handsome rosewood inlays.

The Rotary Lock has a nice brushed stainless case with a rosewood inlay. The AUS 6, high carbon stainless steel blade, is hollow ground and mirror finished. The inside of the stainless case is also mirror polished to keep corrosion at a minimum (a practice seldom done any more). The blade opens smoothly and locks up tight. This is a very well made knife. This unique locking mechanism operates by rotating the brass part on the top of the handle. Used but still in good shape. (has some dings in the handle and blade)
