Diamond pattern cast metal handle scales, the front scale says GPO JOSEPH ALLEN & SONS SHEFFIELD 1937. High carbon steel sheepsfoot blade. Tang stamped NON XXL JOSPEH ALLEN & SONS SHEFFIELD. Steel liners and handle pins. Tha blade has extra strong open and close snap with half snap as well. Made in Sheffield, England in 1937. This antique knife is in excellent condition and has a real nice patina.
