Smooth ebony wood handle scales. High carbon steel spear point blade and pen blade. Tang stamped EMPIRE WINSTED, CT - 828. Both blades are tang stamped and have good open, close, and half snap. Brass liners. Nickel silver bolsters, handle pins, and inlaid bow tie shield. Proudly made in Winsted, Connecticut U.S.A. between 1856 and 1930 by the Empire Knife Co. Awesome antique pocket knife in great condition.
