On a regular basis Boker has the opportunity to review designs sent to them by knife enthusiasts in hope of seeing their dreams come to reality. Some designs are unique. That was the case with the ideas supplied to us by an upcoming designer, Chad Los Banos. Chad, a native of Hawaii, was influenced at an early age by playing with his grandfather's collection of military bayonets.

The design that had an immediate reaction from the Boker staff was his Subcom. The Subcom series of folders and fixed blades were designed to fill the hand, while remaining small enough to stay out of your way, yet offering enough blade to get the job done. Blade length is short enough for most municipalities and very people-friendly. The Subcom folder has gone through extensive evaluation and field testing, and has received an outstanding appraisal from experts in all fields to include military, self defense, outdoor and general use. Brushed titanium back handle with pocket clip (clip can be mounted on either end) also serve as a money clip and formidable backup weapon. The uniqueness of the Subcom is that, as small as it is, it fits comfortably into even the largest hands.

This Subcom knife features a titanium frame lock with a two-tone finish (satin faces and bead blasted recesses/edges). To maintain the original dimensions, the handle scales are CNC milled with maximum precision. The original handle pattern is also milled in the scale to show the bridging, just like the original. The titanium clip adds to the high class appeal of this Subcom folder. The blade utilizes high performance 440C stainless steel. A real Boker Plus classic in a modern, high tech package. New in box.

Features:
Blade Material: 440C Stainless Steel
Handle Material: Titanium
Blade Length: 1-7/8
Closed Length: 2-3/4
Weight: 2 oz
