Blade Show Atlanta 2026: The Biggest Knife Show in the World

May 20th 2026

Show season is officially in full swing again, which means it’s time for the annual migration of knife people toward Atlanta like some strange, steel-carrying species of bird with a caffeine dependency and a Pelican case. (Clearly not talking about us…)

And honestly? Blade Show Atlanta is chaos in the best possible way.

If you’ve never been before, it’s difficult to explain the sheer scale of it until you step onto the showroom floor for the first time. Imagine thousands of knife enthusiasts, makers, collectors, retailers, AND manufacturers all packed into one building surrounded by some of the best knives in the world. Everywhere you turn there’s another table covered in customs, prototypes, rare production pieces, and knives you’ve definitely stared at online at 1:14 AM trying to convince yourself and your wife that “It’s a need, not a want, honey."

Blade Show Atlanta is the largest knife show in the world, and somehow every year it still manages to feel like a giant family reunion mixed with a treasure hunt and mild financial irresponsibility.

What Is Blade Show Atlanta?

Hosted every year at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, Blade Show brings together:

  • Custom knife makers

  • Major production companies

  • Dealers and retailers

  • Collectors from all over the world

  • EDC enthusiasts

  • People who somehow own fourteen pry bars yet still need another one… but my name’s not Judy, so who am I to judge?

It’s where major releases happen. Collaborations debut. Grails trade hands. Friendships get built in the hotel pit at midnight.

For a lot of us, Blade Show is bigger than the knives themselves.

It’s one of the few places where the online knife community becomes real life. The faces behind Instagram accounts suddenly become actual people standing in front of you, ready to buy your next coffee.

What You’ll See on the Show Floor

Walking through Blade Show Atlanta feels like stepping directly into the center of the knife world.

You’ll see:

  • High-end customs

  • New production releases

  • Prototypes

  • Rare vintage pieces

  • One-off builds

  • Show exclusives

Many makers bring pieces you may never see again after the show ends. Some knives disappear into collections within minutes of the doors opening Friday morning.

One of the best parts of Blade Show is getting to meet the makers themselves. The people behind these designs are usually right there behind the table happy to talk about their work, their process, and occasionally whatever sleep-deprived nonsense the weekend has turned everyone’s brains into.

Conversations bounce between heat treats, blade grinds, machining tolerances, and whether anyone has actually consumed anything besides the roasted bean water we all know and love since arriving in Atlanta.

That’s kind of the magic of Blade Show though.

Everyone is there because they genuinely love this industry.

Tips for First-Time Blade Show Attendees

Get there early.

The big stuff goes fast. Very fast.

Some makers sell out within minutes, especially customs and limited show variants.

Wear comfortable shoes.

This is not the event for cute but painful footwear choices. Blade Show Atlanta is massive, and your feet will absolutely begin negotiating against you by Saturday afternoon.

Bring cash if you can.

Many vendors take cards now, but cash still makes life easier at shows. Knife show economics operate on ancient laws beyond modern banking systems.

Take your time.

There’s a lot to see, and some of the coolest discoveries happen at tables you almost walked past.

Hit your priority booths first, then wander. Some of the best moments at Blade Show happen completely by accident.

Talk to people.

Seriously.

The knife community is one of the most welcoming groups of people you’ll run into. You’ll hear incredible stories, learn about makers you’ve never discovered before, and probably leave with at least one recommendation that destroys your budget later.

Where to Find American Edge

We’ll be at Blade Show Atlanta all weekend moving around the floor, catching up with makers, hunting inventory, filming content, and trying to survive the beautiful madness that is Blade Show.

If you see us, stop and say hi.

One of my favorite parts of these shows is finally getting to meet people from the American Edge community in person. It’s always wild realizing the people behind profile pictures and usernames are actual humans and not just tiny glowing rectangles on the phone screen.

Can’t Make It to Blade Show?

Don’t worry. We’ll be bringing the show back with us.

We’ll be posting highlights, cool finds, behind-the-scenes moments, and whatever insanity unfolds over the course of the weekend. There’s always something unexpected at Blade Show Atlanta. Always.

And yes, we’ll absolutely be bringing inventory home with us.

Historically, some of the coolest knives never even make it fully back to Minnesota before they’re listed online. Modern technology is beautiful like that. Tiny computers in our pockets capable of instantly broadcasting sharp objects across the internet to willing participants.

What a time to be alive.

Make sure to follow along on social media throughout the weekend so you don’t miss anything from the show floor.

Atlanta, we’re coming for you.
