THREE RIVERS MANUFACTURING TRM NEUTRON 2 LINER LOCK 3D PYTHON MICARTA HANDLES STONEWASHED MAGNACUT BLADE
This is a very nice and sleek blade. I never heard of Three Rivers Manufacturing (TRM) and I was just browsing around, looking for the next knife to add to my collection. So I noticed this knife brand created what is known as the Neutron, which caught my attention. I thought that was a pretty cool name for knife, something biological from the science department. I wanted a compact pocket knife, so I went with the Neutron (They also have the Atom, which is the slightly larger version of the Neutron). The blade design/shape is the same, 2 different blade materials (CPM 20V or MagnaCut), and you can pick from a variety of different handle materials (G-10, Micarta, Carbon Fiber, Camo Carbon, and Titanium). I went with the 3D Python Micarta scales, Stonewash MagnaCut blade material. I was excited to get this knife, I was kind of skeptical because I never purchased a blade from this brand. But it’s a USA brand, and if I’m not mistaken, they manufacture all or most of their parts in the states as well. So I gave it a shot and was beyond satisfied on my purchase, I bought another Neutron but with the 3D Tangerine Tiger Lizard Skin Texture G10 Handle. What TRM did with the Micarta, it has this very distinctive pattern. The color palette they chose, pairs very nicely with the Stonewash MagnaCut blade, it’s crazy how they almost look like the scales of a snake. It feels fantastic in the hands, feels very secure and it fits perfect in my hand. It’s comes with a nice deep carry pocket, unfortunately it’s not ambidextrous and only right hand carry. It’s a marvelous knife, I will definitely be buying an Atom or a couple, TRM hit a homerun with the Neutron
