The Shaman has a well deserved reputation as one of Spyderco’s most robust and capable folding knives. Building on that hard earned trust, we are proud to introduce the Shaman Lightweight. It faithfully delivers all the proven performance and design features of the original, but in a lighter, more affordable format. The handle scales of the Shaman Lightweight feature the same comfortably radiused shape as the original, but are injection molded from resilient fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). This reduces the knife’s overall weight by nine percent and adds a pebbled texture for an enhanced grip. The scales house nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners that provide outstanding structural strength and form the backbone of the knife’s high strength Compression Lock mechanism. That ultra reliable lock supports a full flat ground CTS BD1N stainless steel blade, which is available in both PlainEdge and fully serrated SpyderEdge configurations. A four position pocket clip completes the package, allowing this remarkable knife to be carried tip up or tip down on either side of the body. Brand new in box.
