Designed by renowned custom knifemaker and bladesmith Ed Schempp, the Retract is a dynamic folding knife that offers exceptional cutting performance. Its most distinctive feature is its dramatically curved, full flat ground blade. Crafted from 9Cr18MoV stainless steel and somewhat reminiscent of a Nepalese kukri, its negative angle significantly enhances the knife's cutting leverage - especially on draw cuts. The recurved blade is housed in a handle built with full skeletonized stainless steel liners, peel ply textured G10 scales, and a partial G10 backspacer. The stout liners form the foundation of the knife's reliable LinerLock mechanism, which is machined nearly flush to prevent unintentional closure. To balance low profile carry and immediate access, the Retract includes a lined lanyard hole and deep pocket wire clip that is reversible for left or right side tip up carry. Brand new in box.
