The Para Military 2 is one of the most popular, recognizable, and carried knives in the world. Now this iconic design is available in a lightweight format that trims the knife’s overall weight by more than 25 percent and adds enhanced grip security. The secrets to its remarkable design start with injection molded fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) handle scales. Lighter than G-10, they feature our signature Bi-Directional Texture pattern for a high traction, non slip grip. They also house a streamlined Compression Lock mechanism that further reduces the knife’s weight while locking the blade securely open during use.
The business end of the knife showcases a full flat ground blade crafted from Carpenter Technology’s CTS BD1N, a nitrogen enriched stainless steel that offers an excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. The blade also includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for quick, ambidextrous one handed opening and a textured index finger choil (finger groove) and thumb ramp for precise control during precise cutting chores.
