Pro-Tech Avalon Button Lock Knurled Black Handle Stonewash Blade PN1101

The craftsmanship is astonishing; it wouldn't be surprising if someone told me this was a custom knife. It's very light, the opening and closing is incredibly smooth, and the point is needle-sharp. It's undoubtedly a great knife, but personally, I'd like to see the following three things changed: 1. A titanium handle. 2. The thumb stud height should be slightly lower (about 2/3). 3. A shorter carry clip. That said, again, the Avalon is the best 4-inch folder. I bought two.

Pro-Tech Avalon Review - This is hands down one of my favorite knives that I currently own. Pro Tech makes exquisite knives, from their folders to their immaculate auto deployed knives. When I first found out about this knife, I knew I had to add it to my collection. Pro-Tech collaborated with Shawn Ashmore, my favorite actor in the original X-men franchise live movies who role played Ice Man. I wasn’t aware that Shawn was a knife enthusiast and creator in the knife industry. I was so pumped to getting one of these masterpieces but there was a slight dilemma. Everytime I attempted to purchase a Pro-Tech Avalon, they would immediately go out of stock because they are very popular and in demand. It’s a top contender for the best everyday carry knife, I love everything about it. It has a very aggressive Stonewashed MagnaCut blade, with very big but ergonomic thumb studs, perfect sized and amazing button lock, right carry and deep pocket clip, aluminum handle that is knurled for extra stability and grip. When I got a notification from American Edge that they had the original one in stock, I added one to my cart and bought it right away before it went out of stock. I was so excited, couldn’t wait to hold it in my hand and put it on display with the rest of my knives. When I got a notification that my package was delivered, I was full of excitement and ran towards my mailbox. I opened up the package and there it was, the stunning and ready for anything Pro-Tech Avalon. Feels fantastic in the hands, they really hit the nail on the deployment for this knife and the button lock. Exceeded my expectations, Pro-Tech made an exceptional work of art

As with all Pro-Tech knives this Avalon is top notch. If there is anything that can be improved about this knife is the size. It’s a bit too long to easily handle. Other than that, great knife!

By far the best pocket carry. Big blade but very light- rapid deployment with thumb studs even in these old hands. Pro-tech construction is flawless. Own several of these ,each one is perfect. And it comes from a Trusted dealer Edge Knives...
