The Ultratech from Microtech is one of their most popular models, it definately provides the most bang for the buck. It will forever set the standard for all out the front knives. The Ultratech is Microtech's original double action out the front knife, and has been the foundation of their entire OTF line. Over the years, it has gone through several modifications, each time becoming more efficient and reliable. The Ultratech's spring remains in an "at rest" position at all times except when deployed. This ensures that the compressed spring will not become fatigued, assuring users that when the knife is fired, it will operate effectively. The Ultratech's lightweight, one handed open and close action, slim shape, and scalpel sharp blade make it a one of a kind knife!
This brand new zero blade tolerance ZBP model runs on the new drive train and has the crud cutter. It has contoured red cerakote 6061-T6 aluminum handle scales with the Microtech Claw logo on the front. Black finished M390MK stainless steel single edge blade with standard cutting edge. Black finished hardware. New reversible pocket clip, lanyard hole, and glass breaker. The blade has the model information. Brand new in box.

First & foremost, it's a beautiful knife. If you love the photograph, you'll love the real thing, which can't always be said for products you don't see/try in person before purchasing. The silver highlights balance the boldness of the red & black superbly: if aesthetics are important to you, this knife is not going to disappoint. Like every other Microtech Ultratech ZBP I've had the pleasure of handling, this one works like a dream. Extended, the blade feels no different than a fixed blade, unlike the older models, which, sleek as they are, are not quite perfect in this regard. In short, it's a trustworthy product from a great company, sold by a great team. Oh, & it's made in the USA, too -- George Washington would approve.
