Somewhat Disappointing
First, an admission - I also own a much pricier custom version of this knife which did inform my judgement: in reality, custom is a very different feeling and different performing knife altogether. This full-Ti version is heavy, but I do not mind the weight. It is the blade that I found very disappointing: flat ground, very thick behind the edge, very heavy for a blade, which makes it unwieldy and frankly almost un-usable for any cuts short of splitting logs. The handle is among the most comfortable ergonomic handles out there, and Ram-lock works great. It is the blade that disappoints, which is too bad, as the blade is the reason for it to be a knife as opposed to a fidget gadget or a fashion trinket. A knife that looks great and feels great but does not work as a knife is not a good knife. FYI - in the custom, the blade is of course hollow-ground, which makes it thin behind the edge, lighter in weight, and elevates this design into knife-market stratosphere. This full-Ti-handled factory version ain't it. Hope this helps. Cheers!
