Microtech Dirac Delta D/E Black Stonewash Standard 227-10
The all new Dirac from Microtech is the first double action knife in the lineup with a cover firing slider. A new ergonomic chassis was designed with curved lines similar to the HALO for a slightly different feel, compared to the other handles Microtech produces. The design was researched for this particular O.T.F. and then taken to a new level by applying Microtech's signature ultra high tolerances. Other things like proprietary hardware, an innovative internal mechanism, and glass breaker complete the package. The Dirac Delta with an overall length of 9.4 inches, the Dirac is a more robust size for even greater functionality than its little brother.
This model features black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle scales. Stonewash finished M390 stainless steel double edge dagger blade. Bead blast finished hardware, pocket clip, and glass breaker tip. The pocket clip has the Microtech Claw logo, Microtech logo, serial number, and production date. Brand new in box.

Dirac Delta
I own a number of Microtechs, including several UTs, a Hera and now the Dirac Delta. I love all of them, but the DIrac is my favorite. The action is amazing—smooth and hits hard. Love the switch placement. It’s not a small knife, but seems to disappear in pocket and feels great in hand. Lock up is great with some slight blade play (which I’m ok with). I do not own a combat troodon, have handled several, and I prefer the Dirac—if I had to choose. Obvious choice is to have both! Dirac only comes in DE blade, which is fine for me and this type of knife. I would prefer the newer style low-profile glass breaker, but not a deal breaker. Easy carry for left or right hand without changing anything. I highly recommend both the knife and AE. Order / shilling was flawless. I’ve emailed them about unrelated knives and always get response I need. If I had an issue, based on their solid reputation I know it would be taken care of.
