Microtech Currahee T/E Black Tactical Standard 103-10 Vintage 2006 Model

The Microtech Currahee fixed blade was designed years ago for the U.S. Special Forces Boat Team 20. Currahee is a Cherokee name, which translates to "stands alone" and is also the name of the last mountain in the Blue Ridge range. It was there that the US Army established Camp Toccoa during WWII and where the first Parachute Infantry was trained. These knives are built like tanks with a full tang construction from thick stock. Large raised jimping on the spine. The handle is black micarta with textured textures screws to provide a secure and comfortable grip. Includes a nylon sheath.

This model features black finished D2 tanto blade. The blade is etched with the Microtech logo, model information, serial number of 00146, and production date of 10/2006. Aquired from a collection and in great shape, with just a few snails on handle, with box.
