The standard diamond disc is pre-installed on all HORL sharpeners. You can use it to grind knives of any hardness efficiently and give them a high-quality sharpness. This is ensured by its extremely durable block diamonds. After using the standard diamond disc, the ceramic honing disc removes any burr and refines the grinding result. Its integrated grooves remove grinding dust from the blade and in this way ensure a smooth edge. The block diamonds on the standard diamond disc achieve up to 80% more steel removal compared to the HORL 2 version. This makes sharpening even faster and results in a more uniform grinding pattern.
